This role centers on creating and deploying deep learning models that enable autonomous trucks to navigate complex, dynamic distributions. You'll develop and train models for applications such as path planning, behavioral planning, and scene understanding. You will also evaluate model performance and incorporate models into navigation algorithms. You will integrate ML models into production-vehicle systems.

Collaborate with research engineers to build infrastructure to perform research operations and automate the training and optimization of ML models for real-time inference in computer vision applications. Write frameworks with flexible and modular components to quickly prototype trainings and implement new cutting-edge research ideas. Build robust and fault-tolerant ML pipelines for running inference on large image and video datasets.

Optimize machine learning models for iOS deployment using expertise in C++, Python, hardware-aware programming, and Apple’s MLX and Metal frameworks to accelerate performance on mobile devices. Build efficient, on-device AI solutions.

This is a high-impact role for someone with machine learning expertise and leadership skills to manage people and projects. The Engagement Modeling Team builds and maintains machine learning models that predict and optimize user engagement with ads. You will define the technical vision for engagement modeling, aligning ML solutions with Reddit’s product and business objectives.
